HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
卡维特州立大学于1997年提供了兽医博士学位(DVM)计划，以加强其在农业领域的发展. 这也符合当时的《ca88》, Don Severino Agricultural College.
Initially, 该项目隶属于农业学院动物和兽医科学系, 林业与环境与自然资源. 2000年8月，该项目由新成立的兽医学院负责.
该学院的教师均毕业于国内首屈一指的兽医教育机构. Most members have finished graduate degrees. 教师专职从事教学、科研和推广活动.
Structurally, 学院有两栋主要建筑:兽医教学医院大楼和行政与学术大楼, 前者设有动物诊所和全空调实验室. 动物诊所为学生提供一个亲身体验疾病诊断的地方, treatment and control in companion, 外来和农场动物，以增加和验证他们的理论知识在兽医医学, surgery and pathology. 在兽医治疗学中有特别说明, pre and post-operative care, diagnostic technique, prescription writing, case record keeping, 医院管理和兽医-客户关系.
